Mount Pleasant Welcomes Past Tense Yoga
This month, Mt. Pleasant welcomes its first yoga studio, and DC gains a space that caters to yogis of all skill levels.
Past Tense provides newcomers a warm and friendly environment where they can explore a variety of yoga traditions and receive an exceptional workout; it also affords advanced students the space and expertise to continue and expand in their practice.
Past Tense offers a variety of class formats and levels, including:
Let it Flow, a vinyasa-style class offering a flowing, dynamic form of yoga that connects breath to movement
Strong Hold, an athletic, hatha-style class featuring static poses that builds strength, flexibility and endurance
Virgin Yoga, a class introducing students to the different styles of yoga
Happy Hour, a Friday afternoon energizing workout set to Top 40, Alternative hits or R&B.
Past Tense is located at 3235 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, NW in Washington, DC. Located just three blocks from the Columbia Heights Metro, the studio is accessed easily from the Yellow and Green lines, as well as the 16th Street bus lines (S2, S4, S9), the Cleveland and Woodley Park bus lines (H3 and H4), and Downtown bus lines (42 and 43).
